Job Description

A nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm in Buffalo is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its team. The firm has built a strong reputation representing individuals in complex personal injury matters and is known for its commitment to client advocacy and exceptional legal representation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a collaborative team environment and meaningful, rewarding work. The position is primarily in-office, with the potential for a hybrid schedule following a successful probationary period and performance review.

Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation
  • Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and settlement documents
  • Organize and maintain case files, medical records, and investigative materials
  • Conduct factual research and case investigations
  • Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel
  • Manage litigation calendars and monitor deadlines
  • Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries
  • Assist with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Perform electronic filing in state and federal courts

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience required
  • Personal injury experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of discovery and trial preparation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
