Job Description

Are you an experienced HR professional with an interest in working at a law firm?

A Buffalo, NY law firm is searching for an HR Coordinator on a full-time basis. This is a blended role responsible for a wide range of HR and legal administrative duties.

HR duties:
  • Assisting in managing various HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance documentation
  • Collaborating with Supervising Attorney and other stakeholders to ensure that all HR practices adhere strictly to legal standards and company policies
  • Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and assisting in the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Attending and participating in meetings and trainings as requested


Supporting attorneys with:
  • Scheduling meetings, depositions, and interviews
  • Maintaining client files
  • Preparing pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, and other litigation documents
  • Filing and serving legal documents
  • Preparing client bills

Job Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in HR
  • Experience working at a law firm a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage own workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office
