KRG is helping a global manufacturer hire a full-time Lab Technician. The Lab Technician supports the testing and characterization of products and materials used in aerospace applications.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assemble prototypes and modify production parts for tests
Set up laboratory equipment to perform tests as required by engineering and governmental requirements/instructions
Conduct tests and record data
Prepare reports for engineers
Perform equipment calibration and repair, inventory and organization of lab supplies
Job Requirements
Associate degree in mechanical/engineering technology or High School diploma and some advanced training in engineering technology
Technician Certification in manufacturing/engineering preferred
1-2+ years of related work experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office and LabView
Basic engineering and mathematics, mechanical aptitude
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Background in chemistry, circuits and data acquisition a plus
