KRG is helping a global manufacturer hire a full-time Lab Technician. The Lab Technician supports the testing and characterization of products and materials used in aerospace applications.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Assemble prototypes and modify production parts for tests
  • Set up laboratory equipment to perform tests as required by engineering and governmental requirements/instructions
  • Conduct tests and record data
  • Prepare reports for engineers
  • Perform equipment calibration and repair, inventory and organization of lab supplies

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in mechanical/engineering technology or High School diploma and some advanced training in engineering technology
  • Technician Certification in manufacturing/engineering preferred
  • 1-2+ years of related work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and LabView
  • Basic engineering and mathematics, mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Background in chemistry, circuits and data acquisition a plus
