Hybrid-Remote schedule offered after training: 3 days in office, 2 days remote


A prominent, highly respected WNY law firm is looking to hire an HR Generalist for their Syracuse office.

This primary function of this job is assisting with benefits administration: prorating, setting up COBRA, etc. As such, candidates must present strong knowledge and experience in employee benefit administration.

Additional duties will include writing HR policies and assisting with recruiting and marketing efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year college degree is required. 4-year degree and/or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 3 years` experience working in a professional HR department
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized

A graduate of Houghton Academy in Accounting and Business Administration, Lisa brings over 35 years of experience to the KRG team. Her experience includes finance, human resources, IT, marketing, property management, and a brief stint as a location scout for a county film commission in Northern California. She enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things moving smoothly. Her support keeps us working as a team, putting people to work as efficiently and seamlessly as possible.

Lisa is a New York transplant from California that loves living in Western New York. She is often asked why she left California. Her answer: the art scene, the architecture, and most importantly, the people! Buffalo has shown her over and over again that it really is the City of Good Neighbors.

When she is not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and their dog Benny, a lab and border collie mix. She also is learning to paint with watercolor, crochets, and gardens when the weather permits.
