A specialty manufacturing company has an immediate need for a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will provide companywide support in all HR functional areas, while also serving as a resource for managers to create a healthy work environment where each employee feels valued and experiences job satisfaction. This role includes promoting a positive work environment and providing guidance and leadership that align with company policies to all employees.

Job Duties:
  • Acting as a member of the Senior Management team to formulate plans and programs regarding operating policies
  • Implementing and administering employee benefit plans including leaves of absence, retirement, open enrollment, health insurance, and 401(k)
  • Overseeing payroll and commissions for hourly, salary, and executive employees
  • Directing and supervising talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Building partnerships and communicate effectively with all levels of employees from individuals to teams, from entry level to executive leadership
  • Assisting with administering various union contract requirements

The qualified candidate has superior communication skills, expresses a high level of confidentiality, discernment and judgment, and has the ability to work across all levels of employment.

Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years HR Generalist/Management experience
  • Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • SPHR or PHR certification preferred
  • Experience working in a Union environment a plus
  • Knowledge of Paylocity payroll processing system strongly preferred
  • Pro-active relationship builder who provides excellent employee experiences
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and reporting requirements
