A nonprofit healthcare organization in Buffalo, NY is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their downtown office, to perform timely transaction processing, account analysis, reconciliations, and other tasks necessary to ensuring the accounting department runs smoothly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares monthly journal entries and end close reports
Monthly bank and account reconciliations
Assists with monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
Assists with the annual budget development process and financial audits
Prepares monthly and quarterly grant vouchers
Maintains fixed asset management system
Successful candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills, accuracy and attention to details, and an aptitude for analysis.

Job Requirements
1+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
Proficient with MS Excel
Knowledge of computerized accounting systems
