Our client, a premier Syracuse law firm is looking for an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team. In this role, you`ll support day-to-day HR operations, working closely with the HR Director and HR Team. This position is responsible for coordinating activities specific to pre-employment, on-boarding, scheduling and other HR related tasks as they relate to policies, best practices and team objectives.
What You`ll Do:
Coordinate hiring initiatives to include offer letters, orientation schedules, employment materials, background checking, etc.
Monitor and coordinate employee exit materials
Interact closely with executive staff in assigned territory
Create ADP reports, monitor attorney licenses and track renewals
Perform a variety of other human resource related administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements
Four-year degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent combination of current professional work experience in a law firm or professional services arena
Technology savvy user - excellent Excel and Word skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather/analyze information skillfully
Superb communication skills
Professional demeanor, punctual and approachable
Excellent recall skills and a good sense of humor!
