Job Description

A global manufacturing company with facilities in Lancaster, NY is looking to hire a Director of Quality & Certification. In this full-time role, you will plan and coordinate a quality assurance program to insure the continuous production of products is consistent with established standards across the BU.

Duties include:
  • Providing expert knowledge on regulatory and customer requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement through the optimization of processes and organization
  • Developing the quality network of the BU
  • Leading QRQC and problem-solving efforts within the BU
  • Ensuring compliance with customers, regulatory, and aviation regulation requirements

Job Requirements

  • B.S.ME or B.S.Q.A. Or equivalent is required
  • 7-10 years of quality assurance operations supervision/management experience
  • AS9100 experience
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations
  • Product/operation audit and regulatory audit experience
  • FAA ODA, FAA DER or DAR experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
