Job Description

Experienced operations and business leader sought to lead site operations supporting the production and supply of highly complex, technical products for use in Nuclear Power Plants. This role requires a strong customer focus within a highly regulated environment, with responsibility for directing and coordinating all manufacturing operations across the site. The leader will ensure peak operational efficiency through effective communication and cross-functional integration, develop and mentor operations and manufacturing leadership teams, and drive the on-time delivery of high-quality products in full compliance with all customer, business, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute the vision, strategy, and operational objectives for site operations in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Serve as the site`s senior safety leader and primary customer advocate, ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Direct all production operations, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement, standard work, and lean initiatives using KPI-driven performance management
  • Lead sourcing, inventory, and capital investment decisions to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and quality
  • Develop and mentor site leadership teams while promoting cross-functional collaboration, ethical conduct, and a strong performance culture
  • Direct leadership of Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Sales, Procurement, and Quality
  • Dotted-line leadership for Finance, HR, and Information Systems

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor`s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field required
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing operations leadership experience
  • Risk identification and mitigation in complex manufacturing environments
  • Experience leading unionized workforces and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong decision-making ability with a proven track record managing competing priorities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, RCCA, MRP, and earned value management
  • Ability to resolve complex, unprecedented operational challenges
  • Strong organizational, planning, budgeting, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing, inventory, and warehouse management systems
