A premier law firm with offices Rochester, NY is looking to hire a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal on a full-time basis. The Paralegal will support a team of attorneys with legal research, drafting documents, client contact and case file management.

Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing title documents, real estate documents and ALTA surveys
  • Maintaining and organizing deal files
  • Reviewing and summarizing loan documents and construction contracts
  • Preparing and assisting with closing documentation, post-closing distributions and closing sets, and ancillary transactional documentation
  • Assisting with client communication

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of law firm experience
  • Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies or related field preferred
  • Paralegal Certificate (ACEBS) preferred
  • Real Estate and/or Banking experience is ideal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

When she is not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and their dog Benny, a lab and border collie mix. She also is learning to paint with watercolor, crochets, and gardens when the weather permits.
