Premier New York State law firm is seeking an Innovation Manager for a newly created role focused on driving legal technology and AI initiatives across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize use of legal technology platforms and system configurations
Lead implementation of new tools, including AI solutions
Identify and develop AI-assisted workflows to improve productivity
Partner with attorneys to improve workflows and translate needs into solutions
Manage projects from planning through rollout and adoption
Collaborate with IT, training, and vendors on implementation and support
Monitor legal tech trends and drive innovation initiatives
Track adoption and measure impact on efficiency and performance
Job Requirements
5-8+ years in legal, legal tech, or legal operations
Strong understanding of law firm workflows and attorney practices
Experience with legal technology platforms (DMS, collaboration, workflow, AI tools)
Proven project management experience for tech implementations or process improvements
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both attorneys and technical teams
Preferred
Experience with iManage or similar systems
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, Power Automate)
Experience evaluating or implementing AI solutions in legal settings
JD or law firm/practice experience
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification
