Cash Management Controller

Job Description

Well established company is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to work in their Orchard Park office. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, and acts as liaison to the general accounting department. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties including:
  • Day to day management of the Accounts Payable and Cash Management Departments
  • Departmental month-end reporting for all entities
  • Monitor credit lines and adjust as necessary
  • Provide back up for the Asst. Controller
  • Research and resolve banking issues and processing errors
  • Assist in developing and prepare monthly internal financial reports including footnote disclosures, cash flow statements, and cash balance projection reports
  • Analyze internal reports and provide written analysis of same on a monthly basis
  • Develop and prepare monthly intercompany analysis to ensure proper tie-out across entities
  • Ensure policies and procedures are in alignment with GAAP
  • Understanding of bank reconciliation process and find ways to bridge the gap between cash management and accounting and proper recording


Qualified candidates will be highly organized, able to multi-task, possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate well with peers, other departments, outside vendors and subordinates is key!

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of managerial experience for direct reports of five or more people
  • Proven record in accounting, accounts payable and cash management
  • Solid background in financial reporting and analysis
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
  • Posses mid-level computer skills with strong emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite
