Property Manager Assistant

A non-profit organization is looking to add a Property Manager Assistant to their team to oversee the kitchen and maintenance of the company and ensure compliance with all safety standards. In this role, you also will be overseeing and coordinating the responsibilities of the Facility Assistants.

Duties include:
  • Conducting safety, facilities, and OSHA training
  • Assuring that the facility is fully stocked, including food supplies
  • Working with the Facility Assistants to create and coordinate a menu of nutritious meals
  • Monitoring all aspects of food preparation in compliance with the Department of Health regulations
  • Conducting inspection of the program sites to ensure compliance with all safety standards
  • Communicating with external maintenance services
  • Monitoring the operation and care of company vehicles
To succeed in this role, the candidate must be a go getter, thorough and ready for a challenge. Applicants should be able to switch gears quickly, be assertive, and have excellent time management and problem solving skills. It would help if candidates have experience in nutrition, food preparation, menu planning, plant systems, OSHA regulations, and basic maintenance - but is not required.

  • 2+ years of related experience (facility management, facility maintenance)
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Willingness to take initiative and resolve problems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of basic first-aid is desired
  • Valid NYS Driver`s License
