Employee Relations Specialist

A Buffalo, NY healthcare organization is looking to add an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on a full-time, direct hire basis to take on the challenges of employee relations.

Responsibilities include:
  • Administering employee disciplinary actions
  • Providing guidance and training to department managers on employee relations
  • Performing workplace investigations
  • Reinforcing company policies, standards, and expectations
  • Preserving confidentiality concerning personnel and legal matters
Qualified candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills to be capable of communicating and partnering with employees across the organization. The successful candidate will also be required to stay up-to-date on industry and HR trends to ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.

40-50% of this position requires travel, so applicants must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

  • 2+ years in a human resource role
  • Bachelor`s Degree in Business, Human Resources or another related field
  • Organized and detail-oriented to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong conflict resolution techniques
  • Valid Driver`s License and personal vehicle
