Senior Accounting Manager

A WNY construction company located in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY is searching for a Senior Accounting Manager to lead the daily accounting activities for a busy organization.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Oversee Account Payable and Accounts Receivable and correct any errors
  • Assist departments with annual budgeting
  • Financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Prepare monthly and year end reporting in preparation for external audits
  • Work closely with management team to conduct profit analysis of specific projects
Qualified candidates will have strong technical accounting, analysis, and research skills, and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and process improvement. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple projects is also required for this position.

  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • Prior experience managing an accounting department
  • Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
  • Expert level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Quickly learn new accounting software programs
