Part-Time Porter

Job Description

A property management company seeks two part-time Porters for their growing team. This position is responsible for removing debris, maintaining common room areas, restocking bathrooms and responding to all cleaning emergencies.

Job duties:
  • Completing minor repairs and building improvements
  • Cleaning common room areas such as cafeterias, courtyards and lobbies
  • Monitoring, cleaning and stocking bathrooms
  • Responding to major spills and other cleaning emergencies
  • Assisting in snow and ice removal on sidewalks and pathways


To be successful in this role, candidates must be highly organized, dedicated and able to manage multiple duties simultaneously.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 6-12 months of porter experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Must be reliable and professional

Her experience includes finance, human resources, IT, marketing, property management, and a brief stint as a location scout for a county film commission in Northern California. She enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things moving smoothly. Her support keeps us working as a team, putting people to work as efficiently and seamlessly as possible.

Lisa is a New York transplant from California that loves living in Western New York. She is often asked why she left California. Her answer: the art scene, the architecture, and most importantly, the people! Buffalo has shown her over and over again that it really is the City of Good Neighbors.

When she is not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and their dog Benny, a lab and border collie mix. She also is learning to paint with watercolor, crochets, and gardens when the weather permits.
