A well-established law firm located in downtown Buffalo is looking to add an experienced PERM Paralegal to their staff.
Duties include:
Drafting and filing PERM applications, including prevailing wage requests and 9089 applications
Performing advanced analysis to identify legal and procedural issues relating to immigrant status
Performing initial review and analysis of prospective PERM cases and flagging issues for attorney review
Serving as primary point of contact for corporate clients regarding PERM cases
Drafting and reviewing forms, employment verification letters, and other documents to be used in I-140 filings
This is not an entry-level position. Only those applicants with three or more years of relevant PERM paralegal experience will be considered. Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running on day one!
Job Requirements
3-5 years of PERM paralegal experience
Must reside in New York State
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting forms and letters
Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
